Art in Flanders During the 15th Century Renaissance Period

A 10 page paper which discusses the Renaissance period and discusses how Flanders had a great deal of influence on that particular period of time. The Renaissance period is defined, followed by a section on Northern Europe which addresses the influence this region had upon the period, which began in, and remained powerful, in Italy. The artwork of painters from Flanders, Jan van Eyck and Rogier van der Weyden, are also discussed. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
