Comparing Information Technology in Two Retail Settings - Infrastructure Technologies in the Organization
This 6 page report discusses the information systems used by two different retail outlets and how the systems compare. Distributors and wholesalers in all facets of retail have also found that using integrated systems gives an entirely new and generally more effective approach to customer marketing. The examples used in this report are both furniture and appliance stores, however one is significantly larger than the other. Both utilize Data General systems as their source for information technology. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
